Abstract
Materials utilization in knitted garment industry is affected by a number of areas in which are normally potential saving of the material. Some of the areas are cut planning and marker making and fabric inspection.
To achieve maximum materials utilization the material losses areas must be put under a permanent control and the effect of each parameter related to these areas must be known.
In this work, material parameters and marker efficiency were studied for three styles.
The effects of marker parameters and fabric quality on the percentage losses of the materials were investigated and measured.
