This thesis discusses the use of the fuzzy controller in one of the most complex systems in the control problems, which is the missile guidance problem. The thesis also introduces one of the powerful optimization algorithms, which is the Tabu Search, and the difference between this algorithm and other used algorithms, the convergence aspect of this algorithm, and how to use it in the design of the fuzzy controller.
This thesis discusses the ground-to-air missile guidance and the air-to-ground missile guidance. The definition and the techniques for solving these problems are introduced.
Fuzzy guidance controllers for the ground-to-air missile guidance and air-to-ground guidance are designed. The fuzzy controller for the second guidance is designed in three different techniques.
The designed controllers are implemented using one of the common standard hardware devices, which is the PIC microcontroller device.
