Abstract

In this work we made three experiments. Experiment No. (1) for evaluation of both single and simultaneous avian encephalomyelitis vaccines at different ages in layer. In this experiment we reached to the best age of vaccination of layers and breeders by AE virus vaccines is ranged from 10 to 11 weeks-old , we found that at this age the best titer for protection of layers, breeders and off springs. Also, we found that the best route of vaccination is the wing - web method.
Exponent No, 2 and Exponent No, 3 for evaluation of maternal drived antibodies of avian encephalomyelitis in baby chicks and challenged them by a virulent live virus of AE via injection on the brest muscle. We found that all chicks have a high protective titer. When challenged at 7 days-old No. deathes, No. histopathological lesions observed after challenge by 7 days because of the high titer of maternal drived antibody.
Also, the chicks when challenged at 14 days old protected , No signs and no lesions but revealed little histophatological lesions.
