Abstract The objectives of these studies are: 1- study the effect of some soil hydro physical properties on ground water level depth in Menoufiya governorate, i.e. hydraulic conductivity, capillary rise and water diffusivity 2- Study the relation between falling of water table value and time, and effect of the file drainage system on some soil hydro physical and chemical properties in the middle of Nile delta region. Therefore, five alluvial soil profiles different in their locations were chosen from Menoufiya governorate, in the middle of the Nile delta of Egypt. First soil profile from el-manshia el-gadida village, el-bghour area; second soil profile from kafer karshom village, talla area; third soil profile from faculty of agriculture farm, Shebin el-kom; fourth soil profile from el-remmaly village, kowisna area and fifth soil profile from berket el-Saba area. The soil samples were taken at depths 0-30, 30-60, 60-90 and 90-120cm. the study included the determination some physical, hydro physical and chemical properties so, distributed and undistributed soil samples were collected from each soil profiles, added to water down and up movement and also measurement of ground water for the soils under investigation. |
