Abstract

A Technique For Analysis The Magnetic Circuit Of Three-Phase Induction Motors, With No-Eccentricity In The Rotor. Is Described. The Magnetic Flux Destiny Distribution In The Airgap, With Slotted Surface Is Evaluated And It’s Variation With Space And Time In The Complete Machine, And The Average Torque And Cogging Torque Are Also Calculated. The Technique Is Then Used, But With Eccentricity In The Rotor, To Evaluate The Induction Motor’s Performance. The Effect Of Slot Openings And Eccentricity Are Considered In Determining The Effective Airgap Length. Analytical Expressions For Airgap Reluctances, Airgap Flux Density, Unbalanced Magnetic Forces, Average Output Torque And The Pulsating Components Of Cogging Torque Are Formulated.
