Abstract This thesis proposes novel current controller based on decoupling internal model controller (DIMC). The basic contribution is the integration of active damping and cross coupling control. Experimental and simlution compraision of different current controller based on IMC are presented. The suggested current control strategy especially with parameter detuning and load disturbance (good load disturbance rejection).The importance , for fff , for good performance, of combining the field weakening scheme with current controller featuring anti-windup and improved disturbance rejection is emphasized. The novel field weakening approach ensures the maximum torqueopretion over the entire high speed range under voltage and current limit is introduced. The onset of the field weakening operation is automatically adjusted according to the flux level under rated condition , the current and the voltage limit. This reslts in smooth and precise transition into the field weakening region. The proposed field weakening scheme has rotor flux regulatipon capability , so the rotor flux regulator is not needed in the proposed algorthim. |
