Abstract
This research is an attempt to recognize the role of ethics in shaping our urban environment and emphasizing the profound human quality. It aims at establishing a mechanism that enables the integration of basic applied ethical values in the design of urban spaces, and to formulate a tool that can be used to evaluate the intangible aspects of sustainability. This endeavor is thought of as an essential step toward rethinking design participation in the everlasting human quest for the good liCe. It aims at discovering and concretizing universal ethical values in urban concepts - not in freeze urban forms-that lead to the emergence of indicators of good form, which can then facilitates the restructuring of future urban fabric in order to reach the main goal.
