Abstract Steroid resistant nephrotic syndrome is a chronic, progressive disorder affecting up to 10% of all children with nephrotic syndrome. It causes morbidity & mortality due to persistent edema, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thrombosis and infection (Banerjee, 2002).
