Abstract
This work was an attempt to study the distributional uour of Suaeda pruinosa Lange in different habitats the different environmental gradient, and to elucidate chemical constituents of the species.
Suaeda pruinosa Lange was collected in February 1990 four main habitats: tline depression (at Burg El-Arab). idis ecosystem (at Mersa-Matrouh and Negila). tland plateau (at 248 km from Alexandria). istal sand dune (at Mersa-Matrouh).
main findings and conclusions of the present study braefly stated as follows: itation analysis:
data of vegetation analysis revealed that Suaeda ?a Lange has a wide range of distribution along the Mediterranean coastal desert of Egypt. jre is a correlation between soil salinity and the ition of the plant. Salinity of the soil aids the of the plant.
