Abstract
This study was conducted at the Nephrology Clinic, Children’s Hospital, Ain Shams University. it included 50 patients (34 males and 16 females). Their ages ranged between 3-15 years with a mean age of 9.5 + 7.24 years. All patients were suffering from Nephrotic syndrome. They were classified according to their response to steroid therapy into: steroid sensitive, steroid dependent and steroid resistant. Also the study included 24 age and sex matched healthy children as a control group
